Can someone confirm, is this the earliest known Gorham mark? And what would be the working period for this stamp, as found on this 6" dessert spoon?

Jabez Gorham is listed in the 1832 Providence Directory at 12 Steeple as is Henry L Webster, both were jewellers, and the silversmith firm Gorham & Webster is at the same address. Jabez Gorham 2d is listed at 11 President as a jeweller in the same directory.

Jabez Gorham and Jabez Gorham 2d along with Henry L Webster are listed in the 1838-39 Providence Directory as jewelers at 12 Steeple, and Gorham & Webster silversmiths is also at 12 Steeple.
