William Gale & Son 1855 Footed Tray

16" x 12.5" by 1.25 high. (I see from D&H entries by Trev that Gale's retail operation was once located in the Metropolitan Hotel's ground floors.) Any information on this tray or related pieces is welcome. I suspect we have no reason to doubt the metal content? Gothic letters are "L.L.A" (unfortunate for me since that rules out any John Jacob Astor's). Let me know if the images are visible as I can't view the end result at this point.

Regards for that, Trev.!

Everything I could compare to this salver suggests authentic Gale feet, with the rest of the design elements fitting as a shared similarity even though other nuances may greatly differ.
