Unknown COIN Pie Server/Knife - Gorham?

Post by hpidaves »

Hello,
This 8-3/4" piece is stamped "COIN" on the reverse handle, with no other markings. I had a piece marked similarly a while back that turned out to be Gorham Josephine. That led me to believe this piece might be Gorham. It is very similar to the Gorham Pompeii pattern, but there are some differences.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Dave

I believe I have found it:

Pacific pattern by Schulz & Fischer

I found a pie knife in the same pattern on eBay, but with a different design on the blade. I have seen 19th century pattern pie knives with different designs on the blades before -- variety I guess.

Thanks
