Mystery American or Provincial Spoon Circa 1785 - Marked B:D

Postby WesternPA » Sat Oct 31, 2015 10:37 pm

Hello,

I haven't had any success tracking down this mark, which is fairly distinctive - not certain if it is even and American spoon at this point! Would appreciate any help on this one.

Benjamin Drowne has been proposed, but I have seen no real evidence one way or the other.

Hi,

Thanks! It would be great to solve this one, but I suppose there are a number of marks that just can't be firmly attributed at this point.
