Can anyone help here? I cannot find this mark, although I can find a single reference to a William Dawes of Boston, first appearing in 1785. On the other hand, William Dawes, Sr. (father of Paul revere's famous co-rider was a silversmith and would have been making silver before 1785. The shape and style of these spoons resemble one I have that was made in London in 1776. Anyone shed any light on this mark or maker? Thanks.
