hallmark AC in diamond shape silver sugar spoon

these are the markings on the underside of the handle.
I believe the top (left) marking to be an eagle, or bird of some sort.
the marking in the middle are the letters A C in a diamond shape.
The right marking is a profile silhouette of a woman with a ponytail.
Unfortunately, its hard to make out in the image, however it was taken with a high resolution camera with a magnifying glass.. this is as good as I could get.

I am having trouble identifying this specific piece. Have you seen this spoon or know what kind it is?

If you're spoon is five or six inches long or near that length, it is probably a sugar shell (sugar spoon). I'm sure someone will be able to tell you the name of the pattern fairly easily. If not I'll try to look it up.

You know more about the item than I do then. I think Victorian era services included an especially wide variety of pieces, but from my point of view, often only the manufacturer knew exactly what their purposes were. Hopefully, someone with a little more knowledge than I have will chime in. I think it's a great piece and good luck with your research.
