A E Warner Knife

Postby silverly » Sat Oct 22, 2011 11:13 am

I purchased this knife in an antique mall in Southern Maryland recently, and for me it is a new style. I have now seen this same basic knife marked Kirk with repousse style decoration. Does anyone know anything about this particular piece? I think I saw it labeled as a fruit knife, but it will work fine as a butter knife for me. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Trev. I was really interested in learning something about the style of this particular knife which seems to have been popular in Baltimore. As an aside, my description of the decoration as repousse style was off the mark.
