RC Spoon

Here are the pics of what appears to be an American coin silver teaspoon in the Old English pattern.

The length is 11.4 cm (approx. 4 7/16 inches) and it is of quite light construction. There are a number of longitudinal folding cracks, faint but definitely there, indicating that the spoon was likely formed from a hand-, not machine-, formed silver plate and wasn't quite finished to the highest standards. There is no engraving nor other marks other than the maker's. The maker's mark is apparently "R<pellet>C", except that the tail on the "R" is rather funky and doesn't quite unite with the rest of the letter; possibly the mark is "P<some device>C". Ensko IV lists an "RC" without pellet for Robert Campbell of Baltimore beginning 1819, and the "R" is indeed a bit funky, but the date is too late for the style, size, and hand marks in this piece. Any ideas? TIA!
