WF mark on toasting fork

Postby mhofer » Tue Apr 14, 2009 5:01 pm

Can anyone help with this mark on a mid or late 18th century toasting fork? The mark does not match up with the WF marks of William G. Forbes or William Faris. There is not a full set of hallmarks but I wonder if it might be British

Hello.

My guess is that it's one of the marks of William Faris or his son William Faris Jr. ( born 1762 ).
