Question About Christopher Burr Providence RI Spoon

I've recently acquired this spoon. The mark appears to indicate Christopher Burr of Providence RI (1787-1825). My question is regarding the pseudo-marks that appear on the upper handle. Are these typical as there appears to be a King's Head? And, are the pseudo marks any indication of age?
