Hi

When my wife and me cleared the Pantry today, we found an old silver cup she got from her familiy once. Now we're trying to find out the origin of this lovely piece. As we found a asian hallmark on it, we think it's asian? Maybe here we get some more infos about the cup?

Thanks
Jo

Thanks Trev

That's great! So the cup is really something special. And we where not quite sure if it's nickel silver... I think I should find someone who cleans it professionally and repair the stem, that's loose on one place.

Thanks,

The Writing on the Cup "Bowls 300 J. P. (?) Wingate Amoy April 1899"
So the cup was given to a winner of a Bowls Event, right?
I just read that the Chinese letter on the cup marks the silversmith who made this work for Wang Hing. How can I get some infos about that?
