Spoke with a Muslim friend who is a Urdu speaker that teaches the Quran. He stated that this is actually Farsi or Persian and is the name of a particular Persian scientist whose name I can not recall. May it be possible to see the whole object?

Believe this is Brunei بروني which is on Borneo in SE Asia

There was a famous medieval Persian scientist/humanist whose name is Biruni بیرونی or Al Biruni البيروني

It believed its a 925 in Arabic for the right side of the character. Though the number nine was curved instead of the usual slant form.
