Can anyone help with identifying this silver tobacco pot

I suspected Burmese so I emailed a friend who would know. He says:

"It's a Burmese mark. It says, "U Htun", presumably the maker. I've never seen a mark like this. But also the fact that it is one name element (not three or four as today) indicates it has some age. It would be interesting to see the whole thing."
