Happy festive season, to all.
This mark is found on a silver mount which, holds an Egyptian scarab.
Can anybody, please, identify this mark?

Upside down, but I think it is the Cairo, Egypt assay mark for .600 silver.

Hi,

Tardy says it is .600 from Alexandria, but according to my Maroccan neighbours he got that wrong and it is indeed the mark from Cairo as Tom said.

Thanks Tom and Doos.
Would you be able to tell me up until when was .600 used as a silver content? Or is it in use today? I'm trying to date this mount. Two possible dates are 1850s or 1920s.
The design is as you see it all around the mount.
