French Maker's Mark. ID Please

This was the best picture. Inside a lozenge shape is "M" followed by a dog then "R", the other marks are the eagle head and winged head of mercury. If anyone knows of the maker's mark or where I can go and findout about French maker's marks, please feel free to let me know.

The French ministry site linked to below is useful. There are a dozen or so makers with the initials MR though none that I can see with a dog as a symbol. A rat between the two letters is the mark for Maximilien Rabouille.

You can find the site here though it is of course in French.
