I have what i'm told is a victorian poison ring i can identify a lion and what i think is an anchor (am not sure about this though as it is really tiny) and i can't find any date letters but at the top of the side of the ring which opens is 26 and at the bottom is a 5 is this what will date it and what do they mean?thanx :D

Hi Cale,

I don't think the 26 or the 5 have any significance as far as the Hallmarks are concerned.
I think the only way anyone can help is with the benefit of a photograph.
