Walter Lander Jewellery

Hi, I have a diamond and ruby ring which has the following hallmarks:

Makes Mark W L which I believe is Walter Lander, a crown, 18, a sideways anchor, and the letter M(i think) followed by the number 7934.

Putting all this together I belive that the ring is 18ct gold and made in England in 1835 by Walter Lander. However, I can;t find anything about this maker on the web. Can anyone help?

Thanks
.

Hi Anthondo,
There was a William Lander, silversmith who entered his mark at the Birmingham assay office in 1815.
