Lionhead goldmark

Through an inhertance we got a solid golden bracelet.
The only mark on the bracelet is a lionhead with pronounced manes and his tongue sticking out, his face is facing left.
There is no number on the mark, we took it in to have it appraised to establish an insurance value but the dealer was not familar with this particular mark.
Because of the original owner the bracelet could well come from a South American country.
Can you help to identify our heirloom?

Many lions out there, impossible to identify with any surety without a photo. The closest match I could find based on your description is Tunisia 1905-1917.

That would be 18K for Spain, marks used after 1934.

Dear Tom,

Thank you so much for helping us identifying the Hallmark, it does make sense now because the previous wearer of the bracelet was married to a South American but she lived in Barcelona most of her life.
