I need help please. I inherited this ring some years back and need help in identifying it. The hallmark appears to be Birmingham and I think the date letter is y for 1898 I'm struggling to identify the maker though. It looks like SH in a rectangle. The ring is 22 carat with a garnet in it and I believe it was once a mans wedding ring which later had the garnet set in it although I can't really remember as I was a young girl when I aquired it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
