Help needed 968AL

Hello I was wondering if you could help me I’ve been looking for weeks all over the internet for some information on a ring which is 968 AL I’ve learnt so much but I cannot find who made it I know it was made in AL Alessandria then followed by 968 No star so I know it’s items prior to 1971 I like to find out Italian Registration No.: 968 AL I’d you can point me in the direction that would be fantastic and your site is really good and very interesting and very knowledgeable members so I was seeing if you could help

What a legend trev ive been looking all over I even searched and looked though that thread thank you ever so much I wanted to put a face to the person that made it because it’s such a lovely ring when the other half helps me upload a full image of the item maybe you could help me or another member maybe know if they is a story behind the design of the ring because it’s so unique thanks again trev and other site members for taking the time to read my post I’ll upload the item later on tonight
