Unknown date and maker please help

Oh my! I cannot say how happy I am to have found this site. I hope you will be able to help me with my beautiful ring. Please know I appreciate your help and consideration.

It was a Christmas gift, I am completely enamored with it. It is a faintly rose gold band, 9ct, with a leaf pattern. It looks as if it may have been enameled at one time. Somewhere, (it may have been here- I've been to dozens of sites) I read that it may have been made by Lawson & Ward. Its size N or 6 3/4, no sign of sizing. It fits like it was made for me.

Your ring was assayed in Chester in the assay year 1897/98. I believe that you are right with Lawson & Ward as the maker - or possibly sponsor.

Thank you so much! I sent an inquiry and the same picture to Lawson Ward & Gammage, however they have not responded. If they should, I will post back and add whatever they say.
