Pendant Marks

Postby themusicman » Wed Apr 16, 2014 12:23 pm

Hi there, can anyone help me out with these jewellery marks, its from a very heavy st Christopher pendant weighing around 15g, I can see its 375 9ct Gold but what do all the others mean when I inherited it it was very old and had a very dark dull colour all over, but we had it polished and it now looks great, is it very old at all?

If you require anymore info just let me know, This is the best picture I could take the writing is Tiny well tiny is an understatement!

Thanks for all your Help

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the Forum.

That would be the mark of Fred Manshaw Ltd, Kirby Street, London. The date letter is difficult to make out, but appears to be the 'E' of 1979.
