Hallmarks on the old gold ring

Hi all!
This is my first post here and pleased to be a member of this forum.
Here I have a 22K gold rings and the hallmarks are not clear for me.
Makers mark KBSP

We have an answer for you, but require an image of the maker's mark to confirm.

So far,
British Crown to indicate gold standard ; 18 carat or higher, Chester 22 carat gold mark, Chester date letter Gothic N for 1938-39

Thanks for the quick replay guys. I have no picture of the makers marks but its just normal capital letters K B S P in a frame and do you know what the letter N means at the end.

We are always reluctant to give attributions without seeing the mark, as there are often very similar marks to be found, but from your description there is likely to be only one candidate and that is Kinsey Brothers & Patrick, of 56, Albion Street, Birmingham. They registered at Chester in 1897 as Keeper Ring Manufacturers.
