Birmingham Maker's Mark help please

Hello, I'm hoping to get some assistance in identifying the maker's mark on this gold ring.

I've had trouble reading the second letter of the mark due to the obvious wear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A second view of the mark.
Also somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but the rest of the marks would indicate this is 15 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham and hallmarked in 1884, correct?
