NORWAY ENAMEL BROOCH 925 SILVER WHO IS THE SILVERSMITH ?? here is a close-up.

It is stamped with NORWAY STERLING 925 S Triangle
The triangle does appear looking through the eyeglass to have some fine detail inside it if thats any help.Thanks Frank.

Hello. Can't see the mark well enough to be sure.
Could be the VT mark used by Tone Vigeland, a major Norwegian designer.
Her jewelry was made by various firms. Mainly, Norway Designs at Plus in Fredrikstad.
Apprenticed in the late 1950's. Not sure how long she worked, at least into the 1980's.

Hi Patrick, many thanks for the quick reply your VT mark was close to my mark BUT the main difference is at the top of the triangle there is a definate break in the centre of the line going across from right to left and inside triangle is what looks a bit like a Brittania type shape much like on our old UK pennies but it is very small and quite rubbed.I am trying again to get a better close up, but its awkward with the pin in the way so Thanks again for now Frank.

Hi,
the mark is for Finn Jensen, the triangle is actually a stylized monogram of FJ. The mark does not appear on the Norwegian makers page because I've never found a clear example of it.

Hi Tom many thanks for the Finn Jensen result I have looked at loads of other items by this maker and you are spot on thats really great help .I do appreciate everyones help in solving the puzzle .If I can be any help in the future about anything I will most certainly post an answer.Cheers and Merry Christmas to all Frank.
