ring is from early 1920's to 1930's with a large oval mixed cut amethyst
amethyst is bezel set in middle with a flower-like border in silver and also has marcasites on it. the hall mark says "CL 925" and is stamped in block letters. if anybody has any clue or info on this type of hallmark please let me know. thanx again jewelfreak1979
