-->W<-- Mark PATAFLO Cameo Ring. Ident.?

I have a lovely old cameo ring that has this mark.

-->W<-- , as well as PATAFLO ..

cameo head upright in front of me with back facing me it is a W.
reversed is PATAFLO

Could someone point me in the right direction please to identify this mark. I have browsed the american marks here and do not see this mark.

Can't say without a photo, but Uncas was a huge manufacturer of rings and it sounds like the Uncas mark double stamped along with a Pat. Apld. or "Patent Applied For"

One out of two ain't bad, it is Pat. Apld., don't know the maker, but suspect it is an ->M<-. Hope someone else cand ID it.
