Help to Identify Silver Mark Please

Postby rocketpantsbob » Tue May 08, 2007 6:38 pm

Hi,

I have had this chain with the large piece of silver attached for around 10 years, It was in box full of general nick naks I purchased at a car boot!

I have recently found it again in the bottom of another box in my cupboard.

I have been looking through the website trying to find out the information the hallmarks should be giving me, but have had not a lot of luck

If anyone would be kind enough to have a look at the following pics and give me some feedback I would be most grateful

It is around 1 1/2 inches long, 1/2 inch wide and about 1/4 inch deep

The diaganol symbol at the top has the letters A J in capital case
then what looks like a leopards head
lion facing left
the letter C
and a womans bust

2nd pic is prob the clearest

Thanks Andy

Hi Andy,
We see a lot of these Elizabeth II jubilee ingots here. See -> viewtopic.php?t=7195
That post sums it up, but will also lead to others.

Regards, Tom
