I recently got this lovely ring, but wanted to find out a bit more about the maker. The makers mark looks pictoral, like an anvil but cant find anything out about it.
Hope someone can help!

Hi,
Wait for a more qualified member to answer, but this may be the maker:

Kupittaan Kulta Oy - Turku

It does indeed appear to be the mark of Kupittaan Kulta Oy of Turku, Finland:

Established by Elis Kauppi (1921-2004) in 1945 and in business until 1997.

Yes it is Kuppittaan Kulta's export mark to Norway only (the S in the end and seldom seen). Kupittaa/Kuppis is a district of the town of Turku/Åbo. Kupittaan Kulta simply means Kupittaa's Gold.
