looks to me like it was hand made and it is of heavy round links
that are flat on the inside and curved around the outside. The
first pic is of the word 'sterling' written on the clasp in
distictive letters. The others are of the ring that the clasp
connects to. It looks like it could be 'A & Co.' but I couldn't
be sure and it also looks like there might be an italic 'e'. The
other bit is just too worn to tell. Sorry about the pics but they
are the result of a days work with a cheap camera and a microscope
after trying just about everything else and they do actually capture
the detail that is visible because the marks are quite worn.
