Since you don't show the face of either ring you posted, would guess that they relate to the German occupation of Norway during WWII - but again, the engraving of 'Stavanger' does not necessarily indicate the maker was in Stavanger...

Yes, you are right, the rings of the period of occupation by Germany of Norway (1940-1945) Rings are many. On all rings (VT) is "Stavanger"
