Hello,

I have aquired a 1931 George Stockwell Diamond watch. I have identified all the markings but one. The unidentified marking which has a letter C is located next to the 925 mark above the year mark q. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

That's the Swiss Edelweiss mark, indicating silver at 800/1000 or above, in use from 1917 until 1934. The 'C' denotes the assay office at La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Trev.

Thank you very much Trev for the welcome, quick response, and identifying the marking for me . I researched many hours on it. You saved me many more.

Again thank you Trev...all the best,
Robert
