Need help with date marks for Robert Allison kilt pins

I have two penannular kilt pins made by Robert Allison from Scotland. I was able to confirm the makers mark, the standard and city marks (with many thanks to the resources on this website). I'm fairly certain these are both from the 1950s or 60s but I cannot find the date marks for Edinburgh any later than 1931. One looks like and "A" and the other a "B". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The "A" is 1956/57, and the "B" is 1957/58.
