This piece has been in my family many many years and those who knew the history of it have passed. I have no knowledge of silver wares but have searched as many Hallmarks I can possibly find with no luck. On bottom of tray the engravings contain 4 squares (not spaced apart) and in each box is either a picture or letter. The letters appear to be calligraphy style.
From left to right the boxes contain a cat (not male lion mane, but looks like a cat); letter P; letter S; and a crown with 5 points. Below the engraved squares with pictures and letters, the words 'Silver on Copper' are engraved. Any help in this regard is much appreciated. Many thanks!
