Silver Hallmarks

I have 6 desert forks that have 4 hallmarks That all are in a small square and look like English lettering. They appear to be E,B,A,S. Can any one tell me what they mean or where I can go to get Info.

Are you sure it is not EPNS - electroplated nickel silver
