I have a "trinket" style box that I can not find the maker of...I am still un sure if it is silver or plated...it doesnt have a "silver marking," but that would all depend on the age of the piece. I have attahced some photos of my item; if anyone has any info on this type of marking and can let me know it would be greatly appreciated...my mother is very curious.
The marking on the bottom is a ship type and the box is silver the the top being of roses and most of the box with the same "theme" and red velvet liner. It does reminder me of the Art Nouveau periood-- lots of flowers and vined etc. thankso much for reading and respoding.
