Postby hvnsflnangel » Mon Mar 19, 2007 7:18 pm

I'm looking everywhere for this mark and i haven't been able to find a thing. my mother in law is also lookign as well. I'm surprised she hasn't found it yet becasue she has been around the Silver area for quite some time now. Soif you know of the makers mark please let me know.

Have seen that mark many times, always on silverplated items.
Have not been able to identify the manufacturer who used this mark.
Here's a little better picture of the mark in case someone else recognizes it.

They said there are the M M C markings and a sticker on it which says "ETON".

hvnsflnangel sent me a private message about another tea set that's very similar in appearance to hers.
Has the same marks plus a sticker that says "Eton".

There was an Eton Silver Inc. located in Glendale, New York. In business during the 2nd half of the 20th century. They are listed in Dorothy Rainwater's book as manufacturers and importers.

Pat.
