Silver Teacup with German eagle mark

Postby emjayfulmer » Sun Feb 11, 2007 8:06 am

I'd be most greatful if anyone could help me identify the mark on the bottom of this silver teacup holder. I received it with all three pieces but the eagle mark is on the cup holder only.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Hello, that is no German silver mark. It looks like pewter. Best wishes, Bahner

Hello again, did some checking. This is pewter, maker is the "Aachener Feinmetall H. Frings", probably made in the 1970ies or 1980ies. Best wishes, Bahner
