Post by bd42 »

Hello Everyone

I have an antique sterling folding knife/fork combo and I cannot identify the hallmarks.I am not sure if they are British or another country but any help would be greatly appreciated

Probably British with "A" as a grade, "S" for Sheffield location, and a maker in gothic letters...looks like TT followed by (?) L. Not quite clear about that last letter...and L could possibly be shorthand for Ltd. (Limited).

Sorry, I missed that whole "Sterling" part. Are you certain that lower left partial stamp reads STERLING and not STEEL?
