Bought this piece at flea market today.
Found that is FIFTH AVENUE SILVER CO - Taunton, MA
Founded in 1948 as Pilgram Silver Company. Changed to Prospect Silver Company in the 1950s, assuming later the name of Fifth Avenue Silver Co.
FS hallmark should mean Fine Silver, right?
Also crown and knight head point on that, but I have small experience at silver cutlery, so not sure that is real silver.
What do you think? Would be appreciative for any responds

Sorry, but...there are No "Hallmarks" here. These are pseudo marks by a plater for purposes of branding or trademarking, i.e. unregulated by anyone who can set or enforce standards. (Any terms like "Fine Silver" could only be considered a marketing tool having no legal status.) This is "Silver On Copper"....silverplate (appx. .999 fine) laid over copper base metal.

Very appreciate for your reply. Very sad, but that was not big price for such experience.
Have a great weekend and thank you for your time!
