Help with AG? mark on cocktail shaker

Post by Jerry_k »

Can anyone help to identify the mark or the country this mark might be from please. Sorry for the poor quality photo - the mark is very tiny. It is the only mark on what I assume is a silver plated cocktail shaker. Any idea what the picture is between the A and G?
I was told it was French but the French makers marks that I've found seem to be in lozenge shapes rather than squares.

Hi,
Mark of Alexandre Gelb (20th century) of the township Queue-en-Brie in the southeastern suburbs of Paris.
Symbol : sugar tongs (une pince à sucre).
Sorry, but I have no more info related to this silversmith company.
