Please ID this hallmark on a spoon!

Hey everyone! I would love some help on this hallmark. I am unfamiliar with English silver and I think that is what I have. These are the only marks. Thank you in advance!

Just a gut feeling but this looks more like a pewterer's mark than an electroplate mark.

Looks like the early 19thC pewter mark for John Yates.
