Hello everyone! I hope this image works, or know this will be a waste of time! I am new here, and appreciate your Patience with me! :-)

I have a huge Stuffing spoon with marks J B & Sons and what looks like a crown followed by a sideways "E"? I had no luck trying to post the photo, so am trying here for more info on this company? Was told the spoon looked like Sheffield plate. It has simple beaded edges, but very beautiful. 13 1/2". Any more info would be appreciated! Especially the age? Thanks from a Newbie! :-)
Here is a link to the photo, if anyone can try?

I have only seen a couple of drawings of the Jonathan Bell & Son silverplate mark. Both drawings have the initials JB in a shield. There were a lot of JB's producing silverplate, difficult to say for sure who made your spoon.

Thanks Pat for your reply! Seems this is always more complicated than you hope! :-) Will keep on researching. Do you know anything about Jonathan Bell? Are they in business any longer? Curious minds want to know! :-)
Thanks again!

Sorry to say that's all I can find on Jonathan Bell & Son.
Wish I could help more, but my reference books are mostly on American silver.

Best wishes,
Pat.

That's ok, Pat. When I get American Silver I'll know who to ask! :-)
Maybe someone else will be able to put in their 2 cents!
Appreciate your time!
