Unknown silver mark on German plate

I bought this plate at a thrift store and I think it's from Germany but I could be wrong, I've been looking all over the internet and I haven't found anything about this mark. Any help I could get in identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Ah, but no lesson learned is a waste of time so long as you don't take it to the grave as a secret. Find some dumb kid, show him what it means, and you will have increased the knowledge pool of the future.
