Need info on the marks and confirmation that is a silver plate.

The marks on the left of your image are typical British Government contract marks, the item was probably supplied for armed forces use.

And yes, silver plated only.

Hello, I can possibly give you some pointers for this spoon, but I will need to ask you a question first. Is there a "crowsfoot" or "broad arrow" mark between the "K" number and the 1954? There is not a lot of contrast with the spoon. worktop and the flash. I believe there is that arrow head mark so it is likely the spoon is a War Department (Army) spoon made in 1954. A nicer image would help a lot with the manufacturing company but it looks like some "Brothers".
Boy is it hard to get a reply in before Dognose?
