French fruit bowl?

Hello all.
In France I purchased what I think is a fruitbowl. See pictures

(I am unable to link the images directly. sorry.)
I am unable to get a clear fotoshot of the mark, so I'll describe it:
It looks like an eagle (maybe a cock?), looking to the left, with spread wings. At it's feet, it has left an I (capital I for India) and on the right it has something that looks like an I also, perhaps a T (for Tango)
To the right of the eagle, a seperate mark is placed, which is the number 12
Any hints, or straight answers are highly appreciated. I believe this item is from around the 1920's/1930's
Thanks in adance,
Gertjan, Netherlands
