I have received 2 wonderful and helpful responses from Pat and am very grateful, I was able to do a lot of research on Walker & Hall, and that is where I am getting my description from now, instead of my Silverplated Tray as originally stated. A few things I am stumped on is, what is the difference between the wavy flag that I have, to the straight flag, that other items have, and what does the letter "W" stand for ? is it the year of manufacture, and "817" is that a pattern number? For these questions I can find no answers. Mines seems so different to what I find on the net, most items have the flag with the initials W & H then underneath the words Walker and Hall, mines does not have writing on it. Any further information would put me out of my misery many thanks for looking. [/b]
