Hallmark enquiry &Co EP

Hi I would really appreciate any help in identifying the marks on a soup ladle discovered in my loft. I have tried Google and I'm afraid I'm more confused now, than when I started searching.

EP stands for electroplate so your ladle is not silver and the mark is, strictly speaking, not a hallmark. The manufacturer's initials look like BS&Co with an additional M(?) which may stand for the city of origin, perhaps Manchester. Unfortunately electroplaters are even less well documented than silversmiths and I don't believe that this is one which can be identified with any certainty - unless somebody else knows differently?
