Hello,

New to the site and silver hallmarks in general.

Bought a couple of nice silver serving spools with the following marks :
A & D S hour glass
Sorry couldn't add a photo
The S has a line going diagonally top right to bottom left

After a little research I believe the A & D shows that it was Allen and
Darwin in Sheffield

Not sure what the S and the hour glass hallmarks indicate - can anyone help?
