Thanks Trev...if you save the image you'll see another mark to the right of the rest...any idea what that is? Is it likely to be a plated piece or pewter?

That will be the letters 'EP' (Electro Plate).

All I can say is that it is after 1879 when the 'Bugle' trade mark was introduced.

I would think the 1900-1920 period, but it would be good to hear the thoughts of others.
